I am a bit of a hoarder and never throw anything away so my new years res was to change this since i can't even park in the garage. I was cleaning my garage and found
1. stand up freezer
2. a roll of cable wire the directv guy forgot to take with him
3. 3 microwaves, all in working order
4. a clothes dryer
5. a washing machine
6. 3 razor scooters my kids never use and an electric scooter
( I only have 2 kids, I have no idea where all these scooters came from)
7. a basketball pole with cement attached to the bottom
8. a garage door opener with a really long metal thing attached
9. a box of chargers and power cords and misc wires from old gadgets
10. 5 computer cases dating back to 1990, they all have their original components inside
11. one of those ride on scooters for adults (it was given to me when my grandma died)
12. a kids motorized car
13. a box of keyboards and mice
14. 3 hp printers
15. 2 television and 1 old pc monitor
16. a box of remote controls
from reading the forum I kind of know what is scrappable but not really. I think I am supposed to strip the cable wire, and remove the motors from everything. I am so not sure. I would have never considered doing any of this had there not been a guy at my job that did this almost full time. I would have asked him but he was laid off a few months ago. Any help would be appreciated.
PS I know all of this has been discussed before but er um, I only know what copper looks like, the rest is cryptic at best for me. I'd rather someone else do it and we just split the profit..sigh
