Short answer, No. Long answer, you could have cleaned it of other materials and gotten $110 for 220 lbs of clean Al. So read the old posts here and you will be less likely to wonder if you got ripped off in the future.

There is a section of the forums for introductions. Please take the time to intoduce yourself. By the way I was born and raised in NE Indiana. The town that was nearby is Columbia City. Welcome and there is lots to learn here, Mike.

Mitch, you'll always get more money if you spend the time and break the stuff down.

Hah, sheet is right, just got robbed of half your money. The yard here pays 25/lb for "dirty", but it can be "filthy". Sometimes its not worth breaking stuff down, but with the holidays and all, I'm running in full throttle right now when it comes to cleaning up my takes.

Mitch, check your phone book and see if there's an Omnisource around halfway close to you, they should have better prices. Up here they have the best steel prices and very competitive on the non ferrous prices.
