    pricing question

    I think I am going to put a ad on CL for other scrappers to buy transformers how much should pay for one in the pic?

    If the wire is copper and not aluminum then .25/lb is what I am willing to pay. Mike.

    Find what your yard pays for motors and offer just above that. My yard currently is paying $.41 per pound for those.

    Where your gonna get stung is if you buy a few biggen's and they have alum. wire inside and not copper. Might want to do a scratch test first,,, just a thought.
