Just noticed that the site is back up.

Not knowing too much about this .... i was wondering if it was a DNS attack.

Any clues as to why it went down ?

No one is attacking a scrapmetal forum with like 50 active users..... It was more likly something crashed/broke and it took a few days for admin to notice, figure it out, and fix it.

Meanwhile, this thread has turned into a microcosm of why no-one in their right mind would ever want to moderate... much less own... a forum where certain posters feel the need to make every topic about themselves and gum up any attempt at sharing thoughts and ideas.
