    What category?

I have a bunch of these outdated solenoid valves. (ASCO Red Hat series, none of the commonly used ones). Not worth putting online, I don’t think. They have a big old brass knob on them, but the rest is steel. If I cut off the low grade wire, what category should I shoot for at the scrapyard?

You're looking at a low-grade brass breakage by appearance in the link. Would guess about the same as you get for brass plug ends.

Thank you. I was thinking the same.
