Yard no longer differentiate Type L plumbing copper from AC copper??

In the early two-thousands yards use to pay more for AC copper than they did pure-copper Type L(thicker wall than Type M) pipes.. When did this change?

I also couldn't tell you why. I just remember they use to call AC copper "red copper" and it was higher..

It depends on the yard you are dealing with and the contracts they have. The higher up the food chain you are, the more separation into categories.

Give back more to this world than we take.
