    Electronic T8 Ballast for scrap?

Local yards only want to pay $0.04/ a lb for them. Are they worth anything as E-Scrap? These are the new electronic ones, not the older ones. Thank you.

I would say in this market that price is about right.......If they were the older ones full of copper I might argue that they are worth more........Those newer ones are practically worthless (open one up and you'll see)

I've got a few of those also. Opened one of them up and it is only one low grade board

That price is about correct as is mthomasdev. Some dingaling tossed some of those in the bottom of our ballast gaylord and I had to get in and search the whole box for all the electronic ones. Some are only a few inches long.

I will pay you more than scrap for a few working T8 ballasts. PM me or reply here and maybe we can make a deal.

if they are working sell for more than scrap or into the shredd. they have a good market as new ones are not cheap.
