I have several pieces of metal that are not magnetic but i need identified. Anyone willing? I'll start taking pics if so...

i hope these work. The bar in the one picture is shiny on the broken end. they are all non-magnetic. the bar has the digits "111" on one end and 50-50 on the other. it also says "national" and has a picture of a dutch guy or something.

The small wheel says Theodore Bergman Det Michigan. the blob is heavy and very silvery. i have lots of them. they look like silver but failed the mustard test. it looks like liquid metal that settleed in to hemi-sphere blobs. the surface of the blob is pitted but the flat bottom isnt. any ideas?

I havent been in the biz long enough to have a scale... the best i can say is they all feel heavy. the blobs and the bar are especially shiny and feel heavier than they appear. hitting them with something steal will leave a mark but not like the uber soft lead pieces i found.

it does look like a weight to a weight set, however it is only about 3 inches in diameter. i think it was used to balance something. Grandpa was a metal lathe worker, so i suspect alot of this stuff is somehow related. like the silver blobs... might have been remnents of something he worked and and kept as weights since they are rather heavy.

here's a hammer that appears to be made from the same thing as the silverish blobs.

It looks to me like they're lead. Maybe aluminum? I'm guessing lead since it's heavy.

You can get a bathroom scale to use to weigh stuff. I found one at the thrift store for like 5 bucks. I use it to weigh my stuff before I go to the yard so I know a rough estimate of what I have. I put my copper in the bucket and weigh it on the scale..take away 2 pounds for the bucket weight.
