    is cast iron worth anything and die cast?

    As my truck crawled into the yard yesterday with 3200 pounds of cast iron from an old boiler in the bed, I would say yes. Cast Iron in the middle of Kansas was only $170 a ton yesterday. That is usually much lower than other areas of the country. Check with your yard, but it will be worth something.

    Usually a little higher than regular shred. Depending on weight.

    Die cast is zinc, a little less than aluminum
