    trailer frame weight????

I have a 12' x 58' 1971 richardson trailer frame and need to know what it might weigh. only thing I have to cut it up with is a sawzall. need to know if it would be worth spending $300 on torch kit or give it to someone else if they come and get it. have it down to frame and floor.

Just cut up an older mobile home frame and only weighed about 3000 don't know the specifics. It was crumpled up. At .10 you'd break even. But on the up side you'd have a torch and not be out of an xtra 300. Less gas

I just cut up and hauled a 28x 56 doublewide with one axle perside. Cut it up with a handheld concrete saw with metal cutting blades. Cut into 4 ft sections. weighed 3400 lbs and paid $442

You probably would need an escort, wide load signs and flags to be legal, and maybe some clamp on lights for on the rear. That frame is probably 12' wide.
Anything over 8' wide is considered oversized.
