What type of wire is this??

So I found this wire wrapped in electric tape. It was a couple feet wide so I pried the tape open and inside were a gold or yellowish colored wires that looked like copper. Im not sure what it is though. I just started scrapping so i dont really know ****.

Ezekiel420, That is why we tell you new people to do some reading. It's degaussing wire out of a TV, Snip a couple of strands to make sure it's not alum.
part of the time it will be. Don't let the colors fool you. And be sure to save the tape for later.
