    How Pure is Copper in Copper Wire?

    Anyone knows how pure is copper in copper wire?How to identify that? Thanks.

    we only produce machines for scrap copper recycling. I don't know the answer too. I searched for some information. It says the number is 99.99%. I am not sure whether it is real. If anyone here is the copper wire manufacturer, please kindly advise.

    they do have such purity but generally, it should be around 99.9 +-... and if its baled up, with some dirt or dust, it might be slightly lower.... I took one new piece to test and maybe it could give u some idea...

    What's the name of that piece of gadget that tells you copper purity. It's really nice.

    It looks like a higher end XRF analizer, not gun. A gun is handheld like a radar gun.
