I have a motor starter, actually 2. These must be special as they got some kind of transformer connected to the starter as well as a 6 amp fuse block. I think this was a autostart system by square d. All the front of the panel is a reset button, nothing more. I want to put it on ebay, but dont know how to properly describe it..lol. Someone help.....:>

Further info on is nema size 0 starter and the relay thing is type e0-1. There is no part number on the elnclosure that I can see.

Square D would probably be the place to start, even if they only made the box and panel. If it has no other brand names or model numbers they may be your only hope in finding out. You might even try their 800 order number or something, over 2 or 3 shifts(to get different operators). They have a HUGE PDF catalog, but you've about got to know what you're looking for before even going into that

i'm guessing if it's a starter it starts a generator but squareD would be the best place to ask

It looks like something that would come out of a stove, Maybe part of a fuse box? or a furnace panel?

It's just a simple NEMA 1, size 0 starter. If you look on the left side of the picture you can see what appears to be an air hose. This starter is probably activated by a pressure switch.

You are right barren. It was from a hvac system that ran on pneumatics. So in this case the air kicked the starter on? Ok then what is the transformer relay do? The transformer seems wired into the starter??The number on the transformer type e0-1?

So from what you guys are telling me...I can list it as A Autostart panel activated by air pressure...

Looks to be for 3 phase system. I would say the transformer below it is stepping down to 110V for the control coil in the starter. 110 typically pulls the magnet in to make the line contactors make contact.

Bingo Broughy...thanks man. Ya the light bulb in my head that I need lol. Your exactly right. I was back at the jobsite where I pulled it off the wall. I traced the wires out and it ran to a 3 phase motor that turned the blower in a air handler I have to cut up.

Now I know what to list it as. A Autostart Panel 3 phase with a stepdown transformer. Start bidding at 50 or a 100...bingo. I was doing research and seen similar panels go for 1500 lol....

Also if memory serves correctly A NEMA 0 is rated to a 3hp motor at 230 3ph or 5hp at 460 3ph. Either way I think they are rated up to somewhere in the range of 15-20 continuous amps. I can't remember starting amperage limits. ( We have so many of these at work that we have to mess with all the time it isn't funny. I run a Wastewater plant, so these are pretty familiar.)
