    Brass Shells? Gov't Surplus

What is the process for recycling small caliber (.50 and below) brass shells from the government? When purchased legally will a yard question your or require any documentation from you declaring such? I appreciate any and all advice on this! Thank you

you should get a buyers certificate upon payment from any on line auction site. i would call your yard to see if they will buy them. Some yards will require the primers to be removed even if they have been fired. Others will take them as is. I have tried to win some of these but always get out bid since i believ alot of the yards are buying them at what we would get paid i.e $1.50# knowing that they get better pricing from the larger yards or the refineries....but hey you may get lucky.
