Same owner two different locations have diiferent price for elec mtrs

I am on long island and just called a scrap yard for elect mtr pricing. Got quoted .25 lb at one spot. Called another location, same company but different location and was quoted .20lb. What gives?

We have the same situation up here, too. Same company but different towns. Prices vary generally by $10/ton and .10/lb. I asked and was told that the management of each site set their own pricing.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I am within 25 miles of three of their yards so I have a few options of where to go depending on where I am at the time. But lesson learned to always call around before making a drop. Didn't cost me this time thank goodness.
