    Upside down scrap prices.

    The immediate impact is evident - low prices locally as inventory's pile up but once the industrial machine reaches capacity these stockpiled inventories will dwindle in size creating a demand where price will again rise.

    Those with the capital and space to hoard will reap the benefits.

    Within a year of admitting the flaw with their ghost cities, the machine in China took a U-turn. I am sure the big scrap dealers planned for the downturn, it was those that do not comprehend the world market that were caught off guard. Still stockpiling. My age and the return of a strong market might be a tight race.
