    Used Vehicle Batteries

Carquest Auto Parts is offering a $20 gift card for each automotive and light truck battery that are brought in. Their December, 2017 ad has the details and restrictions.

If you have a Carquest Auto Parts location near you, you may want to consider this offer. Good for month of December, 2017 only.

Disclaimer: I do not work at a Carquest Auto Parts location.

This might be worth checking out...

and receive a $20 gift card. Excludes lawn & garden
and power sport or lithium ion batteries (hybrid vehicle
battery packs). Not applicable to core returns. See store
for details. Void in AL, FL, SC and where not permitted
by state law. Bounty amounts may vary by state based
on regulation. Store managers have the right to limit the
    amount of returns per transaction.

    Thanks for the heads up.
Nearest car quest is a ways away but if they will take 20 batteries for a new hub it would be worth the drive.

When ever we had half a pallet load of battery's, Interstate would send a truck to pick them up and pay cash.

Battery's are at a premium right now.

Update: I contacted my closest Carquest. That outlet is independently owned and does not accept batteries. They said the corporate owned Carquest outlets will accept the batteries. I will have to keep calling more Carquest stores to see who participates.

Also, Advanced Auto Parts somehow merged(?) with Carquest. I am going to call the Advanced Auto Parts outlets to see if they will accept them.

Anyway, call around before taking the batteries to Carquest and/or Advanced Auto Parts to see if they will accept them and how many.

Gift certs are great for retail, especially year-end Q4. Something like half of them never get fully used and even when they are, you are just trading off inventory instead of actually paying out, as in this case. It also gets people to come in and buy stuff in excess of the card's value.
