    Sorry I do not have access to this web site, but at one project the prices of our scrap were based on it. The contract stipulated that I had access to it to confirm prices by all bidders. Since that project was completed last year I have no access. I will try to get information, but no promises.

    Another interesting fact you brought to light, I had DJJ and Simms bidding on the same project although I did not know they were one owned by the other. Simms had access to ports at the time and I thought DJJ was feeding them. Now I am totally confused because Simms is considered one of the industry giants.



    On a side note, the more yards that shut down, the quicker return of the market. This will create more demand than supply, Economics 101. The problem is the majority of the yards that cannot survive will be in the rural part of the country that face transportation costs and that will hurt the rural scrappers.
    Give back more to this world than we take.
