    Yep electric motors between $.05 - $.13 a pound here so depending on the place it may be better to turn them in with the shred...

    Steel piles at the scrapyard I go to most often are the smallest I have seen in years looks like they are moving out as much as they can as prices on steel have been going up

    Hobo, I think I might go to a yard you use or have used. Anyway, it looked to me to be more bare than the last time I was there. I got .45 lb for my aluminum wheels.

    sell to buyers on here even after shipping costs it is better than the scrap yards prices....

    Where is #2 in denver 2.51. Best i find is 2.31 at iron and metals and 145 a ton is best on shred and thats at like 3 places. Where do you go shopping

    Well, here is today's ticket. I had a guy want to buy a bunch of the decorater stuff before it went over the scale, so you can add another $15 to the ticket...

    On another note, be sure to tell those important to you that you love them. You never know when you are talking to someone for the last time.

    Heard monday that steel was ganna drop again next week. Already did here, down another 10/ton

    Shredder yard 165/Ton
    Non shredder 155/Ton

    Upstate shred still feeling the affect of their shredder mishap a while ago I think. Brought in 700# today @ $134/GT .. Down 37 in 2 months. Time to start hording
