Shred Feed prices stayed the same from last week here in St. Paul Minnesota. 1 yard is paying $25.00 per ton and the other $20.00 per ton. Yard 3 finally reopened it's doors this am and only accepting Shred Feed, Towed Cars & Cat. Converters, their non ferrous side of the yard is still shut down. #2 Copper at $1.05 per lb and ALL Aluminum (sheet, extruded and cast) are at .15 per lb.
This morning got $106 /GT for Light Iron have $155 / GT for Short Steel / Prepared. This yard has done 3 price increases in 2 weeks.

$50/ton in Sioux City
Welp, turns out I am an idiot. I have been hoarding because I thought all the yards by me are closed.... turns out the further yard is open and has been the whole time. Idk if they ignored the closing order or filed for an exemption but now I have like 5 truckloads of light iron to get rid of. The 2 closer yards were closed, so I had assumed the further yard was too. Called them today though and they said they never closed and are holding normal hours. They said light iron is $0.02/lb right now so it may pay for gas to get there on the 3-5 trips Ill need to make but will get it out of my pile! Super happy they are open, super mad at myself for not calling them sooner.
Edit: just got back light iron $0.02/lb, #2 copper $1.40/lb. I will be going back with insulated wires, brass, and aluminum in the next few days and will grab prices for that too.
