What is going on?

With low scrap prices more time has been spent on the forum and researching the best way to survive. The internet has provided some insight, but the true insiders are the late Mick and Piston Recycling. So the prediction of plugged borders was correct for the reasons given earlier. There are a couple of other things that add to it. The west coast shipping slow down (strike) has added to it, the 5% import tax in India has contributed, as well as the reduced value of all commodities. China's empty cities also create problems. My strategy is still the same, but you need to read updates on metal prices (and not just on the site posted) to make you own business decisions.
