    Steel price drop by me

    Sheet iron was 185 a ton on 2/7/14. Today 3/12/13 its 150 a ton...

    March 1st we dropped 10 down to $170.00 a gross ton. So about 0.075lb.

    just got back from the scrap yard, short steel is 275 a ton and long steel is 250 a ton

    My low end yard dropped 10.50 to 10.00 per 100 lbs .
    Stainless went up from .45 cents to .65 cents at a non ferrous yard .

    Gladd stainless is going up I got .45 in Feb also...

    I got 140 a ton for tin yesterday (was at 160 a ton a few weeks ago) and .39 cents a lb for Clean Stainless. I also am still getting .60 a LB for #2 wire.

    Went to my high pay yard . 9.75 per 100 lbs and 11.00 per 100 for cast. Wow . My low pay yard was 10.00 per 100 . Cast probably. 25 cents more per . OMG price h e double hockey sticks.
