Actually the shadow mask is Invar which is a 65Fe35Ni alloy used for it low coefficient of thermal expansion. This and other GP RF shielded magnetic material like the magnetic gold plated waveguides in cell tower equipment, is worth far more than shead. Invar in quantity is worth in the $15.00# range. Finding a buyer is the problem, you will need several hundred pounds to get anyone interested. you will also need to know you have Invar so you need to be able to test with an XRF to be sure to not waste anyones time. If it reads anything other than 65Fe35Ni you have another valuable alloy that you will need to gather in quantity. Alloys can bring good money if you have enough to sell.
