No can't get motor price for the power supplies. Tried 3 different yards and none will pay motor price.

Thinking of just loading up a gaylord full and try shipping to Ewasted. Just still nervous on the shipping price though.

the last shipping price I payed from Nashville to Mentor was .10 also from Dothan Al to Mentor. the one from Nashville was 4 gaylords from Dothan was 2 gaylords.

even if he payed you .40 per lb you still triple your yard price after shipping cost. talk to Mario or zack and arrange shipping. no muss no fuss.

WOW, those prices seem very low. I feel bad for all you guys that don't have a local e-waste buyer. I take the boards out of power suplies and get .40#. I get .32-.35# for motors (bm). What does your yard call mixed aluminum, I have never heard of mixed aluminum but .50# is not bad. I have been getting .45-.50# for clean cast and clean sheet. .25# for dirty cast and dirty sheet, .65# for clean extruded.

The closest ewaste buyer is another 40 miles away. Already driving 60 miles to get to the yard I am going to. So not worth the extra travaling for small loads. My biggest problem is storage space right now. I am currently working on that.

The mixed aluminum is pretty much any type of clean aluminum.

Have you tried breaking the computer power supplies down and offering them to the scrap yard without the steel shell or wires? I tried that but it didn't work out at either of the yards locally.

I have shipped computer power supplies to Ewasted but only as a pallet of other material. I suggest once you get your storage worked out consider building up material until you can ship one or more pallets. I used Ewasted to arrange shipping and came out far ahead on the cost. I know some of the other buyers also can work on shipping for you. On the weight required to make a pallet my last was about 900lbs with pallet and boxes. Also keep in mind if the shipping company has to come with a lift gate and pallet jack to your location the price goes up considerably. Mike.

That is awful .45 cents a lb seems more fair for the power supplies that's what I've been getting.
