$2.20 for aluminum cans, that's the best ever. Normal is about $2.10/$2.15 I deal with three different scrap yards. One of the yards I haven't been using for CRV gave me the $2.20 rate yesterday. Don't know why 5 cent raise but no complaints, I do 8 to 12 LBS. in cans and 10 to 12 LBS. in CRV plastic ($1.15/LB.) every week. Ever little bit adds up to real $$$$.

+1. Up here, about the cheapest stuff you can find is about $18-20 for a flat of 24, and it's pretty rank stuff.

    Not much only 20 lbs

A new place opened up that pays .90 a lb and they are the ones who buy low grade boards when I get enough low grade boards I will try the new place. .15 for low grade boards better than .07 steel price!

Cans are down to .47 here. Still better than throwing them in the recycle bin and giving them to the garbage co.
