best time of year to sell?

So what do you guys think is the best time of year to get good prices? winter?

In my area the best prices I've seen are from January-April. Was just looking through all my tickets yesterday because I have a few trailers to take in that are junk and am holding them till prices go up, but am really sick of looking at them in my back yard. I'll appreciate the money more so it's worth it!

I would always go with....When I need the money..

I would be interested to hear if there is a better time. I just thought it would be worth watching the prices. Now that I have a baseline on prices I can call before hand and if prices have gone up from what I'm normally getting that seems like a great time to sell. If they are down I might hold on a little longer.

I sell iron and ferrous year round less prices are crap, and cash out the gravy, ie copper and the like, whenever I have enough for a good sized load, gives me a lil leverage for bargaining a better price when I'm taking in 200# of something instead of 20#.
