Opportunity for stuff with silver in it

Hi all! Was at a yard today I buy e-waste from and the manager showed me some stuff I'm entirely clueless about (this is far more common than I'm happy with lol!). All of them are aircraft components and all of them pinged "silver" on his materials gun, some with brass, some with aluminum and so on and one part, the block filter shown separately, he said pinged at 92% which seems awfully high. Does anyone have experience with this kind of material? And if so...what's the opportunity here?

And rather than start a different thread, anyone ever disassemble aircraft power relays? Have a few hundred pounds offered but can't find anything in the forum or am just not searching the right terms. They're like this stock image and weigh max 5lbs or so:

    Many thanks in advance!

if u cant find anyone here who knows
    maybe check ebay?
and either make the guy an offer to buy it based on what it sells for on ebay or see if he agrees to give u half the profits if u sell it for him.

My question is more is about scrapping something with silver plating. The only places I've ever sold gold and silver are "cash for gold" spots. Is silver plating desirable for those buyers?

The Cash for Gold folks may or may not want silver plated items. I was dealing with a local one selling them some gold plated items and they mentioned wanting to get into silver plated. They said it didn't matter what the base metal was so I grabbed several pounds of steel serving trays that were plated and they bought them. Unfortunately they went out of business about a month later......
