HELP with this Pipe Flange Stainless???

Ok, I need help indentifying this pipe flange which is a shiny finish, very heavy, fairly magnetic.
It also has ridges going around the outside of the flange. No numbers or anything to help indentify it. Thanks for any insight. Cannot spark test at the moment.[IMG][/IMG]

Your yard may have more options for stainless steel but by me if it's magnetic stainless it goes in the shred pile, or in this case prepared steel pile (over 1/8 in thick).

Its not a pipe flange, but some sort of machinery part.

If it was a pipe flange it would have markings around the rim, including telling you what material it was.

Yep, your yard will likely tell you it goes into the steel bin. Anything ....''foreign'' as well as magnetic goes as steel. it wouldn't even qualify as Irony.

I've got a couple of yards were that would get 14 or 15 cents a pound as magnetic stainless. Main yard says shred because they don't have a gun to test it. Other yards don't bother testing it.
