    curious metal bar around a tv screen lead?.

    I just took a tv apart I am new to this but the tv had a metal bar with thin wires thought they were aluminium but guess not the bar is magnetic but is heavy and has a ring kinda like lead. thanks.

    Description sounds like a steel bar. Lead isnt magnetic.
