First Mystery Find - Trash Metal or Gold?

So I picked these up today and I have confirmed that they are Harley Davidson Exhausts. I'm wondering what to do with them. One of them has a cat in it and the other doesn't. Has anyone ever delt with anything like this?

    Part #: 65547-98A and 65354-04
Any help would be appreciated! -Gravitar

Anything HD will have a resale value. I would try CL first.

Cool, I knew HD stuff is worth money. Anyway, how would you clean them up to resell? Like I know Brass-o or some other polish will take care of the outside, but what about the inside? I've never really delt with car/motorcycle parts, I mainly deal with appliances and small engines.

True that Harley stuff sells, those look to be stock pipes and what do most guys do when they get a new bike? Upgrade the exhaust.

definite resale, the converter looks similar to a stainless Chrysler which on a motorcycle wouldn't hardly pay anything, good luck

Agreed with kz. If they are stock parts. You'll probably find it harder to sell than you think. People upgrade.

That cat is what is called a foil (you can tell by the swirl pattern) depending on your buyer it will be worth about $10 if it graded as a small or about $20 if it can go as a medium foil.

FYI: It is illegal to resell a used cat. I don't know how much they enforce this law, but I wouldn't market it for reuse if you put it on Ebay. Hope that helps!

Google core buyer/your area, that might bring up a core buyer that would buy it from you.
