Just wanted to say thank you, again! Sent Terry a box a month or so ago and turn around with communication and payment was fast as usual! Appreciate it! Will definitely be sending more your way next year with the next computer refresh.

OK buyer I had for 2gb ddr3 ram is no more. Prices are dropping on ram so no more bonus for 100 sticks or more. Going to hold off on price change for as long as I can.

Any reason for the major downturn in the price market? Where do you see the future going with this stuff? I'm late to the game on the escrap but have the desire to learn more and do more.

Resellable chips and ram seem to hit a downturn every year around this time. This year seems to be falling quicker then I remember in the past. Like any other market its supply and demand. More people selling the cheaper the price gets. Lucky for us it can only go down to scrap value. We all know scrap value for the pinless chips is pretty low though. I can only imagine as sellable ram drops in value as well you will see the value of scrap ram follow?

My opinion: it is both a godsend to see so much technical innovation in the cpu segment, with 2 full generations from both brands in less than two years. AMD has released hex and 8 core cpus BRAND NEW at prices lower than what we could get for haswell just a year ago, and the detriment is a compressed spring of market availability will probably cause the prices to fall another 50% by march or april (after CES a major drop for sure). Cross your fingers and toes it doesn't go down faster than it has in the last six months.

It's all found money for me. I just sent another box to Terry & got my payout quickly as usual. Another smooth transaction. Thanks for the paypal deposit, PTS! I bought another 10 oz silver bar with it. Thank you for helping me with my scrap-to-silver alchemy project.
