Is there any chance you have a website?
How do you make direct contact with a member?
Hi are you seeking any off these prducts from australia
Only of US and Canadian Origin.
Currently paying up to 8.50 per fridge compressor with copper prices ~3.40 in quantaties over 2000.
PM for more info.
Theres guys here in NZ who buy the 240V AC fridge compressors etc & sent them to Dubai.
I don't know what they pay per compressor but I think they are the same guys who buy small vans & send them there too. I'll find out.
We are still looking for more refrigerator and A/C compressors. Contact me for more info.
We are starting a new purchasing program for 220v rotary A/C compressors. Basically we will pay $15-$20 a unit for at least 100 units (1 gaylord box) and cover shipping costs to our freight forwarder. We do have certain specifications because the compressors are to be reinstalled in A/C units.
Very simple you collect 100 of them packaged in gaylord box, shoot us an email and we will pay you and arrange shipping. Any questions please shoot me a PM
How should these fridge motors be prepaired?
I leave the metal tubes & copper wire on them as long as possible & wind it around the compressor.
Should I remove the temp switch thing & attach it to the compressor too? I leave the oil in them as well.
Pretty much eesakiwi. Though not the temp switch. Just long 5 inch copper tubing and the relay with long wires 8 inches, with the oil inside. We do need fridge compressors in quantities of 1800 for a container load. Keep in mind. Not worth shipping in smaller quantities.
Just to clarify my post on 9-19 was about Home Air Conditioning Units such as windows A/Cs and smaller split systems (these are worth shipping in smaller quantities). All 220v
In every refrigerators is usually a piece sealed cooling system that installed where pieces of the compressor that cannot be easily be swapped out with a specialized machinery. If you get a price then quote from a refrigerator that repairman that puts a repairs that will I’d be inclined you recommend a full replacement.
hello we are a scrap metal company in ny.we can supply 15000lb a/c compressors or more in a month. please pm me the prices .thanks
All of this is too fishy, if you ask me. Good luck, but international buyers/shipping provided free? 2,000-5,000 units, no problem for the average scrapper. Why wouldn't they contact 3M directly?
What ever and if you believe this...... Could be legit, but...............
Flathead
Hi Flathead,
I'm not sure what aspect of this is fishy to you. Do you refer to the A/C compressor purchasing by gaylord box? Please elaborate I will be more than happy to give as many details as possible.
I can assure you this is a legitimate business. Although to be 100% honest I have yet to actually do any business with anyone from this forum.
Why are you exporting these units? What will be their use?
They recondition them. Their taxes are really high on brand new goods but old & repairable stuff won't get taxed as much, or cost as much to the buyer.
Keep in mind the the country has rich people & poor people & not much in between. The rich people can afford to pay 100% import Tax on a fridge.
But the poor people can't, so they buy in used stuff and employ local people to fix them & sell the units.
Good for everyone, people get a job, a cheap fridge & now they can keep their food cold.
i travel out there all the time and you should see the refrigarator in the apt i have i always have to put the food in the freezer. but every thing in dr is always fixed never scrapped so i know he needs lots of compressors. but my question to the poster do you buy the whole a/c working or not i know theres a demand on them there or do they charge you the tax on them and are there any other thing you take to fill the container thats in demand
