Another stellar review for Ewasted's operation. Turnover took a little while but that was partly my fault (I urge anyone here with more than a FedEx box's worth of stuff to avoid shipping around the holidays-the queues are just jammed). But the other part was caused by transport, who simply "lost" a quarter of my load and never bothered to tell me. Ewasted helped me talk with the truckers (whose reply was basically "Derp") and then was gracious enough to assist me in dealing with the lost value from the shipment when it was too late to get a claim together. Absolutely a great transaction.

There are a lot of times in this business when I am struck by the thought, "I really have no idea where this is going, who is receiving it, or how they are processing what I send." In some ways, every time I ship, I am taking an awkwardly calculated risk, as does the receiver, who has to deal with the wild variety of stuff I pack into my gaylords and parcels. With no guarantees for either side, it can feel like an uneasy moment, one that sometimes lasts for days or even weeks. I can say, happily, I have yet to be a part of a single unpleasant, let alone unfair, transaction with any buyer/service provider on SMF and it's times like this one with CFCS that really make me appreciate being able to count on them.

I had a similar problem with a shipment a couple years ago. Not 4 of the 5 boxes were received. I had talked with ewasted a couple times, and was ready to count it as a loss. I knew what was missing after comparing my packing list to what was received. About the same time as they sent me the email saying that they had processed my lot, I got another email saying my package had arrived. Somehow it showed up a week later. Maybe your other box will appear as mine did. CFCS is an awesome business with awesome people and an awesome owner.

I also want to say Thank You to the folks at Ewasted! Since my scrap focus had to change a while back, I was on unfamiliar ground and had multiple questions every day. My questions were always answered in short order and I was treated with respect. My first shipment went through very quick and I was paid according to the pricing and grades that I had gotten in my emails even though they were looking at photos and more or less guessing as to what I really had. Great payment and quick turnaround.

The second shipment was right through the holidays so it took a bit longer to turn around but they have often said that the end of the year is especially busy for them. Everything went very well for this shipment as well. I am currently working on the next shipment and look forward to working with Ewasted for a long time to come!

After speaking with two "buyers" on this forum around 6 or so months ago it was a very easy decision to send my load to Ewasted even tho the other buyer was 500 miles closer to my location. So in December we packed up a truck and sent it to OH in hopes that we would get some good feedback on our boards and how they were sorted. Our load arrived in Mid-December and we received our settlement today. We did have problems with this load, but i will tell you that Mario made every effort to make sure the settlement was fair.

I'm fairly new to this business but i'm getting a little "less dumb" every day. The 10,000 questions i asked were answered without making me feel stupid. Mario's staff is awesome, the lady that answers the phone is a total sweetheart and Mario is as honest as it gets.

I'm actually thankful we had problems on this first load, peoples true colors come out when things aren't going as planned. Mario will be getting another load in March, Thank You Mario and staff!!!

I'll keep this short. I've been doing business with Mario for several years and I wish all of my dealings worked as well as working with his company.

    Dave I would agree.
So far the 2 people on this sight I have had dealing with have been great.
I would like to thank them both for honesty and professionalism.
    One is E-wasted
    Two is Gorven
I do hope to deal with more people from this scrapping community.

Hey there Ewasted Finally getting back in the game after the Historical Society project (the materials that I helped process and pack for shipping but wasn't shipped under my account) So, I am getting ready to pack a box and send it over but I had a quick, most likely redundant, question - I have a mother board that has a single small socket but is larger and not from a normal everyday computer. Question is do I just put it in with the other small socket motherboards? Thanks a bunch!!

    Hey E-Wasted
I have about a 12 Oz of Wifi cards from laptops and I was wondering what they would be considered when I send them in and if I need to keep them separated?

Thanks again to everyone at Ewasted. My last shipment went very well one again. A week from the day I dropped my packages off at FexEd, I had a check in hand. With shipping and mail from Central MO to OH, I consider that to be great service! Already working on the next shipment.

To anyone wondering about the shipping arrangements, please go through Ewasted's prepaid labels. Businesses get discounts depending on the volume of shipping they do. Even though we have our own Fedex business shipping account, I sent for the prepaid labels. I ran a price check for the same boxes sent on our account. Ewasted's shipping cost was half what I would have paid if I sent the shipment on our account even with our discounts!

    Hello,

I work for a large IT company. We are in need of an R2 Certified company that can certifiably destroy our hard drives. We have well over 1000 pounds of them.

We do not need money in return, our client just needs for them to be properly destroyed and recycled. We will ship them at our expense.

But here is the catch. They must be sent DIRECTLY to an R2 Certified company. I have recently been dealing with another company in your area and they have been great but they do not possess an actual R2 certification. They said they could send it out to one of their vendors who are in fact certified but that apparently was not enough to satisfy our clients needs. They said that the company receiving the drives must be the same company that does the destruction and they must possess a valid and active R2 certificate.

I see that you are listing your company as an R2 certified recycler. Are you in fact R2, is your certification current and active and are you the primary destroyer when dealing with drives?

Sorry to ask so many questions but our client is very serious about this and has already shot down our other buyer because although they could provide the destruction services and the documentation certifying the destruction, they are not currently a valid R2 destination.

    Thank you!
