Regarding the emails, we are still having issues with certain folks not getting emails despite them being sent with no bounce notification. Still working on it... please feel free to message me on here if you don't get responses within a day or so.

    Hello
To be clear, "Illegal action" is related to our site's functionality.

We are still having some hiccups since the server migration... if you have any issues you can email us in at info@Cashforcomputerscrap.com

We can manually cover things for you.

Folks EW made my day again! Sometimes it gets slowed down a bit and with all things it can be confusing........And when it is my hand is usually somewhere in the confusion OR the parcels in front of me are full of work that should have already been done before shipping. Please consider that what you send has an effect on pricing and turn over time for all of us. SORT AND CLEAN YOUR PRODUCT, INVENTORY WHAT YOU SEND and maybe consider there are many like us and we all like a nice paycheck. Oh and by the way; if you don't want to lift it then it's bad for the guy that has to.

They follow our motherboard guidelines, small socket or large socket. They do not fall into large socket low grade. Laptop apple motherboards go with laptop motherboards. Let me know if that helps.

I would guess that once Apple went to using intel chips these would be classified as small socket.........Anything before that large?..........Just a wild guess on my part

    For MSM:

Most of the processors made in the last 18 years fall under the last two categories:

$5.50 Green Fiber with Heatsink - Pins
$4.25 Green Fiber with Heatsink - Pinless

Processors made prior to year 2000 often fall into these categories:

    $13.25 Green/Brown Fiber without Heatsink
    $13.25 Slot Processor

    ( That's the simple answer )

A little more complicated: Look at how the processor is made. Answer the following questions.

    1: Does it have a cap ? ( heatsink )

2: Does it have pins ?

3: Is it ceramic or fiber ?

4: If fiber ... what color is the fiber ? ( Green,Brown,or Black.)

    =======================================

Bottom line: My guess would be that it's a P-4 made sometime in the early to mid 2000's but more information is needed.

Could you post a pic -or- list the information imprinted on the heatsink ?

That would help narrow it down for Ewasted.

I see the Li-Ion market is falling off. Too bad, I have a little pile of laptop and cell bats I've been building up.

Question: Is a laptop considered complete with or without its battery? What about its hd?

Hey Mario, I have been trying to get a shipment sent to you for few days now but received an email requesting me to send pictures, breakdown of items and weights, etc...... why for??? I completed the "REQUEST LOT ID" form on CFCS website that already has that information and dimensions of box. Now I have to unpack, weigh, and take pictures???? Way too much trouble to do all that since I have it boxed up already.

Never had problems with shipments to you before so thought I would check with you on here first before I look for another buyer. Hopefully everything is all good !

    Hello
Sorry for the confusion. Please PM me your Lot ID number and I will push it through.

A tremendous challenge we have is people shipping valueless-low value product which doesn't cover shipping costs. Our customer service folks are expected to ask for clarity to ensure this doesn't happen.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Thanks

Please clarify PSU with wires. Seems that your scale guy told a member that the metal case must be removed. Thank you.
