I imagine they are off for the holiday just the same as any other business. The emails are generated by a person not a computer program.

Our FedEx branch was open Thursday, but closed Friday. I think your label just didn't get finished before the weekend. Ewasted's shipping has worked very well for me in the past.

Another great visit to Mario and crew last week despite slight confusion on both ends Mario has shown a superior business over the others and makes recycling a worthwhile activity for me

Folks Mario is a great guy to work with; but help him help you! Even a blind man can almost pick up enough info online to do a rough sorting job, try to pack material so it re-sorts fast because his time is your money at the end of the day. Keep it clean and neat; we want this guy to be there in the future.

Agreed completely! I just sent a box of RAM off, and I'm sure that Mario will do a great job as he always does.

Tip: Don't use Ziplock bags to sort. They will very likely either open or rip in transit, ruining your sorting job.

Doh ! Just sent out a load this morning with the memory in zip lock bags. (Next time it will be in a small cardboard box.)

It's a generally been pretty smooth process for getting the packing slips & shipping labels. Done a number of different transactions with Mario and things went well. Highly recommend him !

Might be a little OT, but some feedback from the sorters would always be welcome. You know ...the packing & sorting methods that seem to work best for getting things from point A to point B intact. Perhaps start another thread along that line if one isn't already up somewhere ?

I've been on both ends of the equation- I'm a buyer, and a seller. The ziplock bags never seem to get the stuff to me neatly, unless they're tightly packed, so there can't be movement. My last box had about 30# of RAM, and some CPUs. I neatly stacked two rows of RAM in a large flat rate box, which left a little room on one of the sides. Since I sell RAM, I have poly mailers. I pushed two of them down into that space, and then packed it with CPUs. I laid a third on top with another type of CPUs (I only had three of them). The top of the poly bags on the side were under the top poly bag, and there was no wiggle room when I closed the box. There is no way that there will be much shifting- that box is as tight as a brick. That's the key- fill the box as completely as you can. If there is no movement, you can get away with Ziplocks. It's when RAM moves in transit, that it starts tearing the bags. What I receive are More than Scrap Value lots, so movement can cause more damage than it will in a scrap lot. I still prefer my stuff to be stationary, though

done many shipments but this one made me happier than all the others. I only send a few screens here and there when I need more weight in a box but I send two full boxes this time packed like I always do as a test. fyi not to Mario and his team but to others out there I have been so let down on so many times with screens to the point I was going to sell local. I packed 50 into 2 boxes the same way as I do with same packing material and spacing. I have sent loads to 3 other people on here with the same results every load oops sorry man they were damaged got 14 out of 50 or some really low number on top of which the turn around time is horrid and if you have to ask about being paid more than once is bad but in certain cases 5times wow.
now I have sent to these people because of higher prices and free shipping and every time the damaged screens comes out to be just about the same amount and shipping and the higher price vs. others which I still sent because its not a lot of time to pack and send and still is money.
still I go through a lot of laptops each week so i was tiring of this same thing happening and changing my packing methods and so forth so i decided that if i can send a box of boards with hard drives and screens in it and they make it fine then send a whole lot since they stay in contact all the time they are fast and turn around is fast but best of all they are honest with you and go above and beyond to grade boards and such and help you every way they can.
so boom i get my report 3 days later and boom 48 of 50 made it just fine paid minus shipping it was paid out check sent fast easy but more so the 2 that dint they paid scrap price for which i totally forgot about because these other places pay nothing for non working/broken ones.
i should have know to always come to you guys first but wanted to tell the story and shout out to how amazing this company is and the people who make it possible to do wonderful business with thanks

I have a large amount of LCD screens and a truck load ready.
If there are any LCD damaged in transit, do I get credit for the damaged LCD at a lesser rate?

I tried asking another buyer this question but they obviously didn't want to answer it publicly so I'll just move on down the list.

Do they pay for backplane expansion boards? I have a motherboard with 1 inch high gold finger connector that joints to a board with 5 ISA slots and 2 PCI slots. It is a ceramic Pentium MMX chip. The gold finger connector is plated with gold on both sides, so is it priced the same as a trimmed gold finger? Thanks!
