    Value Recovered:
    $435.40

    COUNT MATERIAL NET VALUE totals

    1 Finger Devalued 24lbs $3.20 $76.80
    2 Finger Cards 6lbs $4.65 $27.90
    3 Motherboards 79lbs $4.10 $323.90
    4 Hard Drive Boards 6lbs $11.00 $66.00
    5 Mid Grade 1lbs $0.80 $0.80
    6 Server Grade 6lbs $4.35 $26.10
    7 Shipping 1 $86.10 $86.10

    total
$435.40 for 122lbs of boards $3.56 per pound after shipping.

All in all I would say his customer service ranks right up there with the best of them. Turn around time was awesome. The fact they will email you fedex labels to ship them is awesome and take it out of the materials. Also they sort for you. So there is no packing everything in seperate boxes. Pack them puppies full of motherboards then fill around with the smaller finger cards and other small boards. I would say for the small time e-waste scrapper this company has my vote for now on buying boards. Will definitly be doing business with them again.

I actualy made more then expected since they sorted the boards into thier catagories.

PS. Olddude if you havnt used ewasted yet I think this is your best bet for getting your top dollar since they sort the boards for you.
Another thing to note Parttime that I've liked the best so far is no only does he sort for you so you get top dollar, but he also does not break the boards down into the different qualities like board sort does. A motherboard is a motherboard in his eyes, and seeing that they are right down the road from each other i'll be making the trip to his facility for the foreseeable future.

    PTS,

What kind of boxes do you normally ship stuff in? Where do you normally get them from?

Around here, the places to get boxes from are ENDLESS..Some free, and some are a few bucks here and there.

I get my boxes from walmart and CL. People always have free boxes from moving. Just tape them up real good and send them on their way.

On a side note I am glad to see Ewasted took down minimums on CPU's to 4 oz. I now have a new CPU Buyer.

Do you put anything in them, such as bubble wrap or anything? I am just asking as "imyourgirl" mentioned something about buyers not accepting broken or chipped stuff.

I also need to find me a good scale too for all this.

Thanks for the info on boxes. I do agree with both places. Just didn't know if they had to be from a certain carrier or whatever.

The packing slip has to match the weight of the contents plus the box right?

Not trying to sound stupid, but anytime I have shipped anything, went to the PO, they weighed it, told me how much I owed and that was it lol.

Good buyers have to change with the times. Do what you need to and stay in business so the small timers have someone to sell too

Do you have a preference for the Eproms and IC chips to stay on the boards? or does it even matter.

is it of any benefit to you as a buyer to have the boards depopulated? and then buy everything separated out?

Try a PM to him on this forum. It has worked for me. Also he had a server problem so that may be the reason. If you look at an earlier entry by him he said it was back up and running. I just checked his web site for the report on my last load. So I know it is working now.

I sent in a very small load, about 20lbs so his company will give good service and prices even on small loads. I sent in the small load to get over 300lbs for the month of Feduary so I could qualify for a second guess in his contest. I didn't winoh well I got paid. Best of luck, Mike

Was already mentioned by another admin when talking to him about posting a thread. You posted before I had a chance to pull it to send direct.

Non paid can't post a thread and I didn't want to only post to one buyer was the reason I posted in two of them.

I should of asked at the time about the connectors. Now im buying more and didnt want to overpay. But that clears it up, not all gold connectors pay the same which makes sense. In know way am i displeased about this, cfcs has always been fair on grading all of my escrap.

For example - "mixed computer plastic" is very vague. Does he mean just computer plastic, or other electronic plastic from printers etc? Also what types? I have seen ABS, HIPS, PS, PVC, PC, and some with no code at all. I emailed him a few months ago and the answer was this...

It would help many people out and he would not have to answer so many questions.

It would not take that long to create simple ones and then expand from there. Example: One for memory could pretty much just include the 4 types and a picture (Gold, Tin, RAMBUS, Mixed).
    Hello
That is a good idea. We are working on a revision right now of the site which will include some of that.
My response was meant to read computers, printers, monitors 90% or more. Reason being 10% or less can be from TV's, routers, etc. That was typically what we had seen. To offer a "menu" of pricing on the plastics is not economically viable.

The issue with the connector was that it was for some sort of audio purposes, even our pricing offered was probably ambitious. I just looked at the top of our connector gaylord and saw two cigarettes.... no one in our company smokes. How do we communicate we dont buy cigarettes as gold connectors?

My fear with putting too much info on our site is the MAIN aspects of our site are being over looked... such as "INSERT A PACKING SLIP" and the part about a human generating quotes during normal business hours. Adding more information, making the site more " Busy" will create even MORE questions.

If you guys have any feedback please email us. I am happy to have this discussion on improvements.

This thread is VERY long and I truly want to keep it relating to feedback/reviews and some important instructions and updates. Discussions regarding our service are best discussed over the phone or via email.
