Gold Finger Boards typically US$2.00 to US$4.50/lb, depending upon the size and memory chips attached.
But please send a pic. I could buy lots of this if you have.

Need more details—-gold RAM/memory is very general. Like going to Starbucks and asking for a coffee. Very best thing is to send a picture, otherwise provide manufacturer/type/size.

Most other buyers of ram for scrap, at least on here, only have a couple categories/prices for ram (purchased/priced by weight)

    Gold ram
    Silver ram
    Gold rambus
    Ram (trimmed)

Pretty sure that is pretty standard .... Least around here... People with literally thousands of sticks of ram aren't going to grab model numbers off of them all.

True. But I know that I pay the most, and that’s because I know exactly what I’ll be able to get out of your stuff. But only if I see it, or have a good description. The others toss out (low) prices and don’t care because they know they’re ripping you off.
    Just sayin’....

When you say describe the material are you sorting it based on chip type? Some gold ram has pinned chips, BGA chips, and a strange one (mainly from RAMBUS with rivets) that is said to have a higher yield than both the other types.

I know these might seem like repetitive questions, but once we get a good idea of what you're looking for and what you're able to pay we can better supply your needs.

"The highest price may be a rip off, but if it's the highest price you can get, it's the highest price you can get."

So just off the cuff you have decided to beat everyone's price.......Say I had 10,000lbs would you be able to handle that order?

After the first order I’d know exactly where we stand and might even pay you 10-20% more. I need good, reliable, steady material and I’m willing to pay accordingly. If we both make a decent buck, win-win, then ongoing good business is a no brainer. Want to try 100 lbs and see where it goes? $18/lb, or else $1/lb more than anywhere you can link to.

I’m surprised at 10,000 lbs. That’s tremendous. No I wouldn’t take that all at once, but it might encourage me to ramp up my processing. I do sort incoming material of course, and it does vary widely. I win some and lose some, but doing ok. You gotta win more than you lose. But it’s a lot of work at this end, Board prep, chemicals, lab equipment, safety requirements, labor, waste management. But we love what we do and we’re good at it. So if you nice people in the great state of Tennessee can be our major supplier, perfect. Near Nashville by any chance? Predators fan?

Lol ... okay boys ... take it outside.

    More seriously though:

Why not develop ebay as a source for buying scrap ram as well ?

Current bid on this 20 lb lot is about 7.50 USD/lb.

I have tried ebay before. Every bulk ram I place bids on gets sniped at the last second. People have algorithms set to bid at the very last second to get it right at the end. Never end up winning.

I won some ram before below scrap price........It was around Christmas and it was a buy it now with best offer........I think guy was just trying to generate money because I checked his account again and would never sell ram that cheap again.....Honestly not worth the time to try to scour ebay for a deal.........After shipping it is usually a break even or losing proposition
