Just a few words about Bruce I have dealt with him in the past and find him and his company to be very reputable and have recently done a couple shipments to them with no hiccups.

*MAJOR UPDATE* I saw an inquiry on another forum page and wanted to get out in front of this serious matter in light of recent events before it's too late. I want to let everybody know that we operate a facility that is registered within the state of Ohio, and The Department of Homeland Security. I figured this forum page is a nice opportunity for a good public posting since it is required to be displayed in a visible public place. I encourage all of the other legitimate companies on this forum to follow suit and do the same. This allows the small time scrapper to weed out the legitimate dealers with the non legitimate dealers. Pricing points are always important, however operating in legal manners as stated by state law is more important.... especially for your freedom and peace of mind.

what do you pay for 2g 4g and 8g ram? is server and desktop laptop dif prices?? If you buy them. I like that you posted your scrap dealer license and the fact I think you are no more then a hour from us. I have a question about your board prices. I plan on starting a thread to address the issue. I see you pay the same price for p4 boards plastic or metal correct? How clean do they have to be? I always remove the battery but what about small plates on the back under cpu? and the small al heat sinks on the 2 main chipset chips ? Thank you
everybody I sell to wants something different taken off the board so it is hard to compare prices.

Hi. We don't really buy memory for more than scrap. We tried to a couple years ago, but kept getting burned when we would go to sell. As far as the boards go... Yes both metal and plastic socket green motherboards are the same price. We try to keep things simple. You just need to have the battery, main heatsink, and it's rare, but any large bottom plate that covers the entire board removed. Please be careful with your mix so I can honor the $1.70/lb. for them.

so just to make sure I have it right? all my small socket boards plastic or metal socket just remove battery and large cpu heatsink, I can leave small metal plates under board that cover just the cpu area or less then half the board? I can also leave the small aluminum heat sinks on the north and south bride chips. ( chipset chip heat sinks) and the current price is $1.70 a pound in this condition?

I also wanted to thank Catman for giving us a try. He stopped by with 3 gaylords of newer motherboards. Given the size of his load (which was a little over 1400 pounds) He was concerned with how his mix was which we determined to be roughly about 80% of metal socket motherboards, and 20% of the plastic ones.... Give or take a couple points. All of his batteries were removed and the heatsink above the processor was gone too. He left the smaller heatsinks on the two chipsets as we had discussed and a few of the boards had small steel plates the bottom of them which are no big deal either. He was very easy to deal with and I think he left happy. At least that's the indication I got when I handed him a check for a little over $2400.

Just a quick note... We noticed other buyers want to hold private conversations with forum members that sell material to them. Not sure why other buyers would want to deal with members privately. I don't understand why other buyers would want to make how they grade and pay for material private on a public forum when the goal of a buyer is to educate the seller how the material should be graded and paid for. We try not to downgrade (sometimes its unavoidable with an altered or oddball product) and we honor paying the posted prices. We have no problem posting things publicly..... after all this is a public forum and all members deserve to know if another member got the posted pricing or got upgraded or downgraded for that matter.
