What part of Pa are you in Gorven? I've been saving a bunch of escrap for a few months now and would rather just put everything in my own truck to be delivered than trust some big company to get my money delivered. I'm in Allentown. Don't know how close that is to you. Plus the yard Im working at right now has a gaylord full of circuit boards mostly low grade but others may have gotten in the mix and a barrel full of crt yokes were trying to find a buyer for.

are monitors measured diagonally from corner to corner or straight across? The screen itself, not the plastic trim around the screen correct?

The right way of measuring LCD screen size is diagonal measure from bottom left corner to top right corner. For example, a 17 inches LCD monitor means, if you measure from the bottom left corner of the viewable area up to the top right corner, it should be 17 inches.

"LOOKING TO BUY SCRAP SATA DRIVES PAYING $0.85 lb AND WILL PAY SHIPPING"

This seems like something that will be of interest to many. Have you decided on minimum quantity? What is your plan for information security? 73, Mike

In all honesty. If you have a customer that requires data destruction it should be done before they are shipped out of your possession. Because at the end of the day I as the consumer only cares that the person I gave the drive too wiped my data. You dont get to the pass the buck on data leaks.

These are scrap drives that in my experience would be inoperable and therefore unable to do the normal wipe process. Currently I dismantle my scrap desk top models so the boards are sold as escrap and the disks are removed ensuring the data is not recoverable. I did not push the question but it may need to be. 73, Mike
