Massachusetts R2 Buying Hard drives / selling shredded drives and other eWaste

    Hello,

I am a Sales Manager from CRTR an R2 Certified company in Brockton Massachusetts. We are interested in purchasing whole hard drives for $.80 / lb. All drives are scanned in then erased if working properly. All drives that are not worth erasing or are not functional will be shredded. Currently we are getting around $.50 / LB for shredded drives so we are also interested in a higher price for those of you interested in shredded drive material.

We may also be interested in your ewaste scrap as well. Please PM me or email me directly at tcwitherell@gmail.com hopefully we can work something out.

    To Gorven:
I would have to check with the person in charge of R2 at our company but I believe we can send to other Non R2 Companies but we need to know downstream information and determine if the downstream is approved to the standards. As the drives we would sell would be shredded its more of what happens to the material afterwards not as much about drive security.

    TO 1956:
Depending on the weight we could pay the freight costs as well.

    To mikeinreco:
We were planning on paying $.80 / lb across the board but if you were going to separate the sata's we could probably pay more. Feel free to send me an email.
