Couldn't resist looking this up! He's also the fastest English speaking person and he was on Saved By The Bell!
Was your NES Snow Brothers complete with box and instructions at that price? I didn't realize that they were selling for that much now as I bought mine at clearance years ago in a discount store or something like that. It wasn't long after the SNES came out. I remember the day I bought them as it was the most new games I had ever bought up until then. There were many NES titles and as I was doing some flea markets back then I bought all they had as they were like a dollar each. There were not many of the Snow Brothers games from what I remember and I did sell and trade a few at the market back then as that was what I would do so I would get back my original investment for the whole lot and then some and be able to put the rest away for later.
Those were the days for bargains and hoarding for the future. I remember finding a bunch of the Ghost Busters cars for the 6 inch figures at a discount store that had areas with certain prices. I was in like the 3 dollar area and I saw those boxed Ghost Busters cars and almost freaked as I couldn't believe they were selling them at that price. They were bringing around $25.00 in the box easy in the collector market. I bought all they had and also had the manager get me the ones that were in their other stores. I traded and sold all but 2 of them over the years as I bought them as a investment.
I always was pretty good at seeing what was ahead. It's not hard to do when you see the world in the way that I see it.
Micro Machines are very interesting for "smalls". I have been saving the small and tiny things I ended up with over the years and have never got around to sorting things out as of yet.
I know I have some of the Micro Machines stuff that I ended up with over the years. I have never personally collected the die cast cars and such, but I have always found the Micro Machines interesting for smalls and tiny things. I will still buy the MM's when I find them very bargain priced. I don't have a lot of them, but I know I have some here and there from the years of hauling things home.
I hauled things away for a local Salvation Army for almost 17 years. I hauled many boxes of small cars and fast food toys home from there. I also would buy out sales and went to many a auction in the past.
How large is your Micro Machine collection? I have noticed that on eBay they sell well enough as there seems to be decent demand for them.
The Bakugan Battle Brawlers are another interesting small curio that I will buy when I find then at a nice bargain. I also have a nice selection of Barbie stuff that I picked up here and there when the price was right.lol...
OThe price list is just for cartridges , each one being diffrent depending on condition . I can pay more for complete copy's of games with instructions and original boxes . Feel free to send me a email of what you have .
My micro machine collection is about 220 vehicles , I collect a lot of the military ones , but someday I will create a sort of train room of sorts with the playsets and such. good question thanks
As of now I'm only letting a couple people that I have known for years, well all of their lives anyway, get some of my game items in trade as I'm trying to get used to the idea of letting more things go. It's a learning experience as I never really put much thought and time into selling. No don't get me wrong, I'm VERY good at selling when that is what I choose to do.
I have been sorting on some of my game items trying to get things more organized for later. The biggest reason that I don't bother with selling is that I don't have the time and energy to think in that direction much.
Do you have the Aladdian Deck Enhancer for the NES yet? I lucked out and got a deal on mine off eBay years back when there was a seller in Texas and one in Canada that were selling new old stock. The S&H from Canada was a bit pricy so I kept a eye on the Texas sellers auctions and finally ended up with the whole set and games for under $25.00 including S&H. I tried on many of them and that was the only one that I won as the same items were selling for around $100.00 on average before those 2 sellers flooded the market with them. I thought of it as one of the games was a Micro Machines game.
I just took a look at eBay and see that someone has a hoard of them and is selling them for $75.00 best offer and free S&H new with all 7 games. The one game comes with the adapter. I did see that someone bought a set for $65.00. If you don't have this set and want it for your NES collection you better grab while the getting is there. Even with the depressed economy they won't go much lower then that I would guess and there might not be some for awhile after they sell out what they have.
Yes I do , mine is not sealed thou . So I might just grab one thanks . I'm not crazy about the third party carts . Have you ever played impossible mission for the nes ? It was a third party unlicensed game . If you haven't your not missing anything . still love the game genie
Have you ever tried it? I have never used one as the only one I have is the sealed set.
As for The Impossible Mission game I'm sure I must of played it in the past as I have a nice selection of the 3rd party and unlicensed games.
Do you have any of the multi carts such as the 52 in ones and such? I have grabbed a few of those for a few different systems off eBay and from sellers I met through eBay.
I like the odd and weird when I can find it at a bargain. I have paid a bit for some of my multi game carts as they are very popular with collectors.
Do you have any of the Japanese Famicom game items? I have a nice assortment of the NES and SNES or as they are known famicom and Super Famicom games and a few of the Japanese N64 games. Still don't have any original Japanese Famicom or Super Famicom systems as it is such a hassle getting a deal on a good one. I do have some of the cheap "Famiclone" systems and also some converters for playing on U.S. systems and some converted U.S. systems that will play the Japanese games. I mostly got into collecting the Japanese games as I liked the artwork on most of them.
I get to thinking about game stuff and the memories flood forth of all the cool gaming stuff that there is available. I don't even pay much mind to the gaming stuff that I can see on the shelves from where I sit. I see a couple of the Toys R Us Pokemon N64 boxed systems and a Killer Instinct SNES boxed set. There are Boxed Pokemon Video Players and many other boxed systems with plastic bags covering them. So it's a bit hard seeing through the plastic as it not clear.
The Japanese games usually will play when connected to the game genie for the n64 . I have a few but the only one I play is street fighter 2 .
Updated prices and wanted to share a pic of one of my latest purchases , Good example of a factory sealed Super Nintendo cartridge .

Notice the horizontal br&x centered across the back , this seal meets a vertical seal on each side creating what is called a factory H seal

Did a swap with Dave.. Smooth as Silk. Thanks My Man!! Will hope to find some other goodies that fit into your wheelhouse!
;)
Adding vintage skateboards to the buying list , can be complete or just the deck .
The last video game I played was Pac Man, that was a arcade type ($.25) in our ready room, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a aircraft carrier. So I'm not up on gaming at all! Somewhere (attic) I should still have the first pong game and the set that came out after that one as well (late 70's). Any value there. worth getting up into my attic?
Certainly keep a eye out for superman with yellow lettering as opposed to the red . Thanks for your question !
I'll be contacting you next week.
