    Reading through the thread:

I feel badly for everyone involved and most especially TJ. He seems like a stand up guy.

I would be the first to admit that i don't know the situation but it might be the time to square up with everybody and shut down the operation. It's kinda like running an F.O.B. out in the middle of nowhere and your supply lines have been cut. Every day ... you're burning through resources with no re-supply in sight. Time it right, and you can beat a tactical retreat back to home base. Delay on making the call ... all will be lost with no hope of ever getting back.

Cash flow problems are a heartbreaker.

There aren't cash flow problems, there is expenditure problems. I am sick, my bills are absolutely insane, a single visit can cost as much as a 5th or 6th mortgage payment at a time. The reality of the situation is I am self employed, the government who contracted with the company who got me this sick in the first place passed a law to eliminate their culpability a long time ago, then the VA, who refuses to identify the chemical poisoning and all the effects that come from that as service connected has instead of treating me directly, handed me a referral and the slim possibility they will ever pay for anything that happens. There are people who can account for the scars and past surgeries I have had relating to this very problem. It has persisted. I have no financial recourse except to push as hard as I can towards the future.

That leaves me to deal with five figure recurring bills by myself on the hopes that one day they will reimburse me in some capacity. I have to pay these bills because as you can guess I still need to be treated so I can get better. We have completely maxed out my wife's insurance in the first 5 months of this debacle. I need approx. another 100-150k worth of treatments and procedures PROVIDED everything goes swimmingly.

The idea of hey, throw in the towel because your not making any cash would be tantamount to saying none of you will be completely repaid in any capacity ever. The fact is I've paid some accounts completely, others have gotten partials. I've personally had to pay the co-pay for the procedure and the recovery time. I paid out of pocket for the medications as well. I wanted to make another partial but simply cannot at this time for those exact reasons. The truth is, this is a trial, and I prefer to face hardship and have reasons to keep on going. A reason to fight, at least for me, is the source of my willpower.

I refuse to parade this around as a crutch. I will make it through the tunnel and out the other side and when that happens, all things shall be squared up and satisfied. Plan for that. Sit tight and watch me kick this things butt.

Oh and if I don't get to say it directly, Merry Christmas everybody.

Wow...None of my business because I have never sold to this buyer but saying "There aren't cash flow problems, there is expenditure problems"...to me I understand that to mean there is plenty of money coming in but it's going out not to the sellers of boards it's going to pay medical bills. Basically admitting he is ripping people off to pay for his health care? If i read that wrong I apologize.

You read that correctly. We would be doing fine if the owner (me) wasn't medically taxed. No, there was no ripping people off. I had no ongoing knowledge that what was wrong would persist on any extended timeline, in fact I had counter-knowledge based on being sick in the past (I have had infections and what not before, all passing in a few weeks). If you prefer to paint some intent, go for it, I'm just clarifying that we have not quit in this interim and final payments for the couple guys I owe it to will be made. Not sure why you think it was any kind of conscious effort to do anything negative. I've never been like that, I don't think anyone could say I have.

I made it known I had gotten sick, nobody really knew why or what was wrong at the time, it started back in July and was off and on until finally I ended up in the hospital. NOBODY can plan around that stuff, and I'm sorry it even happened.

TJ ... i just wanted to wish you all the best.

I was self employed with my own small time gig for 16 years. Saw my fair share of the ups and downs and took plenty of hits along the way. The healthcare issue was the final straw to break the camel's back. I finished up all of my pending jobs, shuttered the business, and returned to the workforce a couple of years ago.

Sometimes there are megaforces in play that are well beyond anyone's control. Our healthcare system is really broken. What we're seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg. Things will become more clear as time wears on. Till then ... try not to stress about the cost anymore than you have to. It's all an absurd and cruel joke.

You remind me so much of my eldest son. You both have brave and bold temperaments. Truly dauntless ! First on point to blaze their way into new territory in the world of business and do big things. You have to be careful not to overextend and take territory you can't hold though.

It's hard to see the forest from the trees when you're in the middle of it though. I tried to warn my son awhile back but he couldn't hear me. Too caught up in the game. His health finally gave out after five years of relentless expansion and eighty plus hour work weeks. He hit the wall. He always said that it was going to be all or nothing ... no middle ground for him.

It all worked out in the end. True ... he lost territory and lost some of his best customers but he survived to fight another day.

He's still in the game ... albeit at a more sustainable pace these days.

You'll survive and live to fight another day too !

Funny how he hides from us, instead of keeping us informed just act as if everything is great.. like he doesn’t owe any of us a thing, like it’s our own faults for sending him our items or something

I've been off the forum for more than 2 months and catching up on things. I'm sorry to hear some of you guys are still twisting in the wind over this situation. I'm still hoping that it somehow gets resolved for you with a pay out.

Yeah still no pay, some veteran this guy, guess he didn’t learn his army values. The thing is him not paying a couple guys has shut down him receiving items from this forum so he is killing his own business

So I have been holding off on posting this, hoping there would be a better outcome and I could say that TJ fully paid me, but that is not the case.
I sent roughly 300 'i' series laptops and over 300 pounds of heatsinks to him around the beginning of October 2018. We had been in communication about this up until 12/10/18. Since then, he will not respond to texts and the few times I have tried to call, I get voice mail. I have not left a message as I don't feel that I would be able to say what is needed. I have received 3 small payments in April and June of this year, for a total of $800. A far cry from what should have been a 8 to 10 thousand dollar pay day.
What really gets me here, is that TJ is still in business. I have people I know on the ground in his area. I know that he has moved his shop at least once. I know people he has done business with. I know his eBay store is still up and running with over 500 items, including some of my own.

I remember when he when first came on the scene. I had scene him around some other stuff before this site. Everyone on here thought he was the second coming of Christ. I didn't. I poked that bear. Harder than I poked others. There are some deeper issues/concerns. I'm sure hasn't sold his boat, his bike, or all his vehicles.

I even sent him business I didn't want.

Hey TJ, The A**hole says Hi. Lets do lunch. I have questions And I have my own answers I want to see how close they are. I'll even buy. This story fascinate me.

I just hate to see stories like this. It hurts the people who send items in, and it gives us all a bad name if I'm honest. I have customers too that have sent him stuff, and I've seen it on eBay. Nobody wants to hear a case of "the guy doesn't have money"- you can try to milk that cow all you want, but you won't get anywhere. I come from a farming background. If you don't have the money, you find a way to work for it. If I sent stuff in, I'd much rather take $100/month for two years than get nothing at all.

I just hate to see stuff like this happen. It hurts a lot of innocent people who deserve better. I keep a copy of this thread printed on my wall as a daily reminder of why I do what I do- the people who sent stuff in didn't deserve this. I pray that it works out in the end, but honestly, I don't see a light at the end of that tunnel

This thing is so unfortunate, but i can't help but feel that we should just let the matter drop. There's no honor or dignity in kicking a man when he's down.

Heaven help us all that we should never find ourselves in his situation. All it takes is one serious error in judgement or an unlucky turn of the cards and we're done for.
