The only item missing can be the hard drive. It must have at least ONE memory module to properly test the unit. Size does not matter. Broken screens are paid as scrap value whether they work or not. Laptops with non functioning WIFI are considered scrap value. When I say complete...it's likely a unit pulled from service because it's been replaced. These machines generally come from IT departments or similar with no time to remarket.

Thanks again to those who've helped me restock my inventory. The push continues, I however am in search of something else. Let me get some pictures. Same as above, to remove, heat, use a razor blade, heat some more if necessary, ship on wax paper.

Any of these would be great. PM me if you have these. I can use athlon/athlon II phenom or phenom II in x2 x3 and x4.

I don't really have a price persay but we can work something out fair for everyone.

Completed my first transaction with TJ. Excellent service and highly recommended. Material was processed and paid for the same day it was received. Will be doing more with TJ in the future.

I wanted to bring this up publically as it was asked more than once in IMs.

If you have high value ram, and you find out it doesn't work...such as 4 and 8gb ddr3 or 4 gb ddr2 laptop

I have a BGA rework machine (Focused IR) for laptop motherboards and all in ones, apple stuff etc. I recently tried 10 sticks of 4gb ddr3 I got as scrap, I was able to bring back 5, 4 of them passed memtest. This is a very specific process about knowing what kind of solder was used, thickness of the chip, etc. Heat at a certain rate, cool at a certain rate...

So I want to offer the CHANCE that I can save memory sent to me that tests bad, ONLY high value stuff, the 2gb ddr2 is not worth time to setup the fixture. If I am successful, I will pay you half the posted value. I will pay your original lot as scheduled then tag and set aside high value failures for rework. What it means to you is you will get paid like normal, after testing then you MIGHT get paid again on reworked failures in the order I get to them.

What I would do as a customer, and this goes for other buyers if when you receive test failures on high value sticks, send them my way, it will likely earn you more than scrap value anyways. There's no real promise of anything in that statement, physical defects should be discarded out of hand anyways, I cant save a stick missing SMD parts.

I expect turn around time on rework pieces to be 6 to 8 weeks. I have to setup fixtures, the digital microscope and really pay total attention to what I am doing. It takes time to do these chips and rework is usually something I reserve for high value items like imacs and asus/gaming series laptops, etc. Laser printer logic boards too.

Crazy question based on your last post. Laser printer logic boards - are these something you buy at more than scrap value?

No, just when I do local pickups of HP laser printers, such as workstations or multi-tier desktop laser printers that stopped working or produced an error indicating board failure. Most businesses I deal with throw out the entire machine. I refill the toner, repair the logic board, clean the machine and resell it. (And why not, most of these, even color laser printers are less than 4 years old.)

Also, in reference to COAs, you can PM me about it, from now on, any sale of the COA has to be met with a cpu, motherboard...hard drive...something from the original machine.

edit- Yes I will pay scrap or more than scrap value for the "audit" parts requirements to receive COAs.

Just completed my third transaction with TJ, as always it was great! Communication back and forth, prompt payment and a great breakdown of material. Will continue to use and recommend him on any and everything I can send him. Keep up the good work!

Even sent an spreadsheet with the results.

Pardon my dust in the coming week(s) I am moving to a new location. I will be working both in Madison and soon to be near Milwaukee as well. As everything gets figured out I will disclose what's what.

New price structures coming. There has been a downturn in scrap prices (As most know) but I am looking at alternative avenues to keep the prices competitive. In the resale market I will be expanding the list.

Alright everyone, pardon my dust. The prices posted are in the process of changing. There will be three new additions to the list. Specific hard drive lists, Intel CPU list, and a MOBILE intel cpu list.

In addition, for certain procs, I can send you clamshells or trays (if you need them) along with a prepaid label. I will be sitting down tonight or tomorrow to sort out a complete list and not step on toes.

Keep in mind, testing can be difficult for mobile CPUs and certain graphics cards so bare with me while I setup specific testing stations. I have a arrival to payment time on intel/amd desktop procs and memory of any size/type of 3-4 days. (Large lots of more than 100 pieces will take significantly longer)

I am in need of core 2 quad chips! If you have any please send em my way!

Also a reminder to ship in a static bag, this time of year with the temperatures in my area static discharge is an issue.

Yes it will qualify. However, there is one caveat, the chip must be spotless, so get yourself some 91% isopropyl alcohol from walgreens or cvs and make sure they are clean BEFORE you pull them from the socket. I cant stress that enough.
