ah man, I really should take the time to go through all these pages to look at the different pictures. I do agree with the other guy though too, all pictures/categories of everything you take, with examples, in one place would be super helpful rather than someone having to go through 20 pages and trying to figure it out.....

I think I had a bunch (probably 50-75lbs) of what I now think were Tantalum Large Military Capacitors, after looking through the pages

I sent them in with shred just thinking they weren't anything special. Ive even been in this thread before, just never on "Page 11" before today ..... :'( ..... oh well, live and learn.

Very true, I didnt read or go through all other 20 pages but how do you not have a picture on how you group your 7 or 8 categories you buy. Are there some tantalum pieces I didnt know are tantalum, yes but that doesnt help me group my items together properly to sell to you so I get the best possible price and ease of purchase

The attached images where you posted both on page 11 are no longer there. I will email tomorrow. My concern was just grouping them together correctly before listing on ebay for purchase because I dont know what type everyone is or if you company separates a little different. Thanks for the fast reply but maybe upload the pics again since they are mia on page 11

I apologize - But, are you asking for us to explain to you the different types of Tantalum Capacitors and provide you pictures of the Tantalum Capacitors that our company purchases in order to process at our refinery in Doral Florida in order for you to list the capacitors for sale on Ebay?

We are the only processing facility in the United States -- Our prices are listed above. If you would like to sell us any Tantalum Scrap material you believe you may have. Please send us pictures to our email address and we will tell you what are and which are not Tantalum Capacitors and there prices.

I know nothing about tantalum or capacitors, or what Tantalum wets are. I would bet MOST people do not. However, that doesn't mean that I don't come across a good number of them in my normal scrapping ventures (without me knowing). I think what he and I are both saying, is, most people aren't going to go through 20 pages and mentally catalog all the different types of capacitors you posted over all the 20 pages. A concise list of examples of ALL the types you buy, with examples, in one place/post (not 20 places) would be beneficial to you and us. It would benifit us buy us being able to quickly and easily be able to separate and identify our materials, and see if what we have is something you are purchasing. And it would benifit you because you would get more stuff If more people could easily identify the things you are looking for.

Im not saying you HAVE to do this if you dont think it would be worth your time, or if there are too many types of capacitors to list. I think allowing people to email you a picture and your respond back with a yay/nah is fine. I am just explaining his and mines thought process.

I think what your are doing is great, and I am glad you are a purchaser on here. I hope to come across some more capacitors soon to be able to send you.

Thank you very much for your reply, These capacitors are considered Tantapaks -- They are extremely extremely heavy --
These are capacitors units that are installed on boards that go into guided missile systems, tanks and F-35 Lighting boards.

These capacitors are extremely hard to find as they are not produced in substantial quantities annually -- Very heavy and very specific type of product. One of these capacitors weighs around 80-135 grams.

    Thank you very much!

There are a few different offers on Ebay for Tantalum Scrap --- However there are listings that are up for years at a time as the price that is being requested does not correspond to market pricing.
Our company does look at Ebay Tantalum Scrap offerings daily and we do provide price offers that correspond to pricing listed and updated above.

There are also listings currently on Ebay that are specified as Tantalum Capacitors which are actually not Tantalum Capacitors.

You buy off of ebay, Ive seen you do so and comment about it in this topic. Im in United States. What is so to understand that im asking for pictures of what goes into the certain groups you buy, is that so hard? You buy tantalum as a business and you have zero pictures that do any good. Do you want me to just throw them all together in one bag and hell with the different categories you purchase them as. Its mind blowing how you think everyone should just know which ones go into which groups. Your the experts and the refiner for these capcitors so why cant you take a picture of the different types of WET TANTALUM, Epoxy and Ceramic.im not asking the world here but just showing me pictures of different types without any information on hiw to group them does nothing to help.

Well put, did you notice that is his post, and calls it something extremely different from the picture for 24$ less. He has 11 different tantalum groups he purchases. Just like a scrap yard almost but scrap yards have pictures and examples a lot of scrap yards even have a huge chart or whatever you wang to call it with physical examples so you can examine/inspect or be able to identify down the road.

Please take a look at the date of the picture & of the price --- The price and picture was listed in 2015.
In 2015 - The price of Tantalum was three times more expensive then it is today, Just the same as most all other metals other then Gold.
