No offense dude but shipping is 30 - 50 cents a pound depending on location. That leaves us making 30 - 10 cents a pound. Can throw them in my alum bucket now for .50/lb

Is their something you are looking for besides the copper so that you can offer more?

    I understand.

There seem to be several people that are getting .20 or less per pound. I know locally, the most anyone will get is .25 a pound and most are .10 to .15 a pound for them. I'm offering an avenue for some folks to earn more for their scrap than what is allowed at the local scrap yard. Like many buyers on the forum, I will not be able to buy for more than everyone else. There will be some folks that this offer will be appealing and others won't.

Prices will change/fluctuate from time to time. I'll keep this site updated as best as I can.

Do you have a figure on how many pounds of these will fit in various flat rate boxes? That will be key.

Break even at .60# in a large flat rate box is 27 lbs. Like the concept and have been saving them but for me shipping will just take the fun out of it.

I've done a couple of trades of the hard drive readers with folks from the forum. I wanted to let you know how it is turning out. For the locals, I think it is turning out fine. Everyone is happy. For those mailing them in, pay attention to your shipping methods. Make sure you pack the boxes tight to fit as much weight in as possible. Also, you may check into non-flat rates and see if shipping is more convenient. In the trade's I've done, I'm still paying out more than folks are going to get locally but the final profit for the seller has been a little tighter than some may like. I guess the way I see it is if you can ship them to me and you make more than you would at your local yards, you are better off. Run the numbers to make sure you will. Thanks to those who have have traded. I appreciate it.

As far as the low grade motherboards, I'm still paying $2.10 a pound. Please contact me if you would like to do business.

Over the weekend I will be expanding my "buy list" to include trimmed/devalued finger boards, mixed computer wire, and pinless p4 Green Fiber processors (Only pinless, not pinned that you've removed the pins). I will try to add more, but not sure if it will make financial sense to add other items at this time.
