In 1984 one pound of aluminum cans equaled 22 cans. In 2008 to make one pound of aluminum cans took 32 cans according to the Natural Resource Recovery Association

thats what this forum shows many. search first, ask later. wasn't implying sarcasm.
And there's a difference in the thicknesses of different cans by brand, some take over 30 to make a pound.
How big is your can? lol 12oz-16oz-32oz
in Louisiana they had some ten oz ones ( maybe some 8 oz ones too)Quote:

Man, this could be confusing. Just checked a few beer cans and found four different sizes so far. I'm guessing that if I check pop cans it will be similar? How many per pound? Depends on the size of your cans. lol lb
