Been looking into this since scrap prices are so low. Any leads on prepping it to sell better and top selling gauges?
Would the crt tv windings around the yoke sell good?
I been warching videos on jewelry making and trying to learn what types they use but still looking.
Several threads with ideas for where an who to sell to.
was lots of replies, but I'll lest tip you off there is a thread with some of the answers you seek.

You can find the woven sort of Copper wire on the board near the neck on the CRT's. Its in a Double ended spool covered in tape.
That and the Degaussing cable has different colour varnish often enough. Sometimes they are Aluminium, but varnished in Red or Green 'olive' colours.
But find the 'standing acoustic wave' SAW devices on a CRT board. They are normally black with 'epcos' written on them.
Break one open to see what's inside, there's glass in there though. After that if you are interested, file the cover off it.
They look pretty inside.

I cannot find a single image of the average CRT TV one. Its far more interesting that what's in Google images.

The copper wire that is red/orange from tv boards are nice an thick enough for crafters, so my wife tells me. She had me save her a bunch for future projects.
You already found the thread far as where to sell the stuff. Etsy, eBay, etc. Get enough you could probably use Amazon..not sure I would for this type of item, but I reckon one could if they wanted. Hitting up local craft fairs and introducing yourself to the vendors is also a good way to spread the word you sell craft materials. I would suggest bringing a list with the items you can easily supply, it'll help you narrow down the vendors/crafters you want to work with. If all you can get is bottle caps a fabric/quilt worker is likely to not need your services.
In that same thread as I'm sure you saw are plenty of ideas on what items one can sell to someone who does crafts.

Depends on the craft I would say. separate by size and make decent sized packages 5-10 lbs of straight clean material. I make wind chimes from scrap copper wire and pipe, the wire from a dryer plug works really well.
You can always go one step further and turn the copper wire into the craft yourself.
then you sell for retail on ebay, etsy, ect ect.

the gauge definitely depends on the craft. my wife wanted custom hangers with all her bridesmaids names in them that she found on (I believe it was) etsy. if I remember right they were 20 bucks a piece. she is very crafty, and I told her to go into my wire room and find that wire, strip it, bend it, and put it in a wood hanger for about a dollar. she went with 14awg solid for her craft, but yet I have had a lady who made these neat little bracelets with some kind of fake gems on them and she used copper from stranded 8awg wire.
not sure if I did it the way a store would or not but I sold it for 20 cents over my highest barebright price... I'm almost positive ebay and such sites would bring a higher profit margin.
Yep, the gauge will vary based on the project. I should have said that. Anyone that's broken open the various copper baring items on a low grade board can attest some of that copper is very fine/thin. To me that's not really worth saving an packing up to someone. One you other folks may tho.

As is my habit, I'm late in getting to this thread.
I have found that those cheap wall clocks all have a nice little roll of fine gauge copper wire in their movement case. I find them very frequently in curbco but thrift shops also sell them for about a dollar.
You can also find them in tvs, computers etc. Usually the thicker is in the power supply box far as computers go. TV's...various places.
Gave my wife some bout as thick as a paper clip, she made some interesting pieces out of jewelry out of them. Buddy stopped by and asked if I had any wire I could sell him, as he needed some. I was like sure...handed him some, went to grab a beverage from the cooler(of course) came back to where he was, an he's using the wire to tie his muffler to his scooter(lost a bolt on the way home). LOL.
