The electric motor video: At 56 seconds, when the cover comes off, the fan looking piece of metal is aluminum. As far as unwinding the copper, this 8 minute video from MooseScrapper has saved me more time and effort than anything else: Easy way to remove copper winding from a motor core - YouTube
The microwave video: Avoid stepping in front of the camera (this may require a second person). Microwaves are such a common find in dumpsters/curb-shopping, that a set of star/torx will save time and your knuckles vs the brute force method in this video. I found a 30 piece screwdriver set, including the 5 most common torx sizes, at Home Depot for $10 (US).
In both videos, the music was a little jarring and distracting.
