Give us a full report when it is completed. I too have shippment enroute. Just waiting for the good news, Mike.
Yeah even with shipping I'm already in the profit as soon as the check clears....LOL
congrats mike.
This is my third shipment since starting breaking down computers, aprox 298lbs. I learned everything about ewaste right here on the forum.
I am holding back some of the components to sell on ebay. I have good little inventory of Hard drives and memory sticks built up. I also have 12 old broken ibooks that I need to tear into. I looked on ebay and the memory for them sells well.
I don't want to over sell him but Ewasted's company is who I sell to and every time has been great.
On this paticular item I was quoted a price by this individual that was twice as much as any other buyer on the forum and according to the message he left me he honored his quote and the check's in the mail
well, dang...are you going to keep him all to yourself ....you will be banned !!! lol jk
I will brag on the individual and his company as soon as the check clears....I am sure it is fine and the check is probably as good as gold but I don't want to jump the gun but I am already getting him another shipment of this material ready as we speak....
We never said the checks would clear, we just said that they were good guys,,, roflaoQuote:

No Offense to any Buyers,
lmfao Good thing i didn't send much material........It was fun while it lasted!!!
LMFAO= Laughing My F*%(*#$ A$$ Off
Well, I'll be darned....you worked a deal with our old friend ComputerScrapper !! That's great....congrats to you both !!
I only started sending text messages a few months ago....My kids were always on me about using text but I resisted the movement big time....I was one of the old fuddy-duddy's that refused to get a cell phone for the longest time.....Now my kids are on my backside to get a smart phone...I am perfectly happy with my dumb phone :-)
I resisted texting as well but kids finally got me hooked. Most of my Craigslist deals are text now and getting answers from the kids is quick and easy when texting instead of calling. Smart phone is next, probably this summer.
The smart phones can do so much more than just txting. From making and adding to documents, scanning in papers (some smart phones can do that) the full net use on them is crazy good.
There are alot of upsides to a smart phone
Txting is great because you can reply when you can and read it when you can. So when you are doing something you don't need to stop like if it was a phone call and...you don't need to turn down the radio or go some where so you can talk on the phone.
All three of my kids have been filling my head with the smart phone thing....But the problem I have is the fact that I just learned how to use my plain old dumb phone...If I get a smart phone then I will have to feel even more dumb asking my kids or my younger employees how to use it LOL.....I was in the store the other day with my son and he took out his iPhone and scanned a bar code on a pack of cookies....He then showed it to me and said "See Dad, I can get the prices for other stores by scanning the bar code...Isn't that cool?" I pointed out that while he was able to do that, all the other stores that were showing lower prices were in other states...So with that App I learned that I can save .10 on a package of cookies by doing my shopping in Huntsville, AL.....Well how in the world have I survived up til now without a smart phone LOL
Now see...Smart phone made you look like a genius! How can you go wrong?
Works better with online items. I was about to buy my Crossbow from a hunting store and decided to use the scan-app. Found it on another website for $100 less plus free 3-5 day shipping. Technology can be a hinderance if all your looking for is more things to fiddle with but some tech is well worth the investment of time to learn it.
Same thing here...took the toddler to the childrens museum one afternoon, and outside the gift shop they have these bouncing creatures that kids can sit on and hop around, kind of like the 'ol hop ball us 70's and 80's kids played with. Anyway, on a whim, i go check out the price....Childrens Museum price was $40....scanned the barcode, and what do you know, Toy's R Us just happened to have them on clearance online for $9.99. Ordered one that very minute, we continued our museum trip, and Conrad's "prize" showed up on the doorstep four days later.
My wife has had an iPhone for almost four years....I just got my first one, and my first smart phone ever, in October. It is such an awesome tool, it has literally put my "office" in my pocket.
Nothing to do with the original topic, but the barcode scan reminded me of this.
Last year I was prepping my taxes, going through receipts. Came across one that had several items that I didn't recognize. On a hunch I Googled the SKU and bam there it was. Oh yeah...I remember buying that.
I'm anxious to hear about that ,too EW.
I don't like to kiss and tell but they were pleased with the boards and I was pleased with the price
I meant to say this but his prices are clearly listed on this website.....LOL
Thanks so much to computer scrapper and his wonderful company wastenot recycling.....Check was received exactly one week from the day I maile the package....GOOD JOB and I'm packing my next box this evening!!!!
Mike your getting me excited, lol. I'm getting my first load ready to take to CP. I'm glad I have been slow on getting my load ready, his prices have went up. CP has been very helpful thru PM. Even though he would pick up, since I'm in Indiana I want to see his shop :)
alright, I'm convinced. Checked out the website, price list looked good. I'm going to seperate my stuff, and pack up a couple of boxes and see for myself how this goes, but from what I have read, I believe you just got a new customer. If there are any stipulations, or packaging details I need to be aware of, please let me know.
think I'll start out with my finger cards and hard drive boards first.
depending on how much I have to ship to out weigh the shipping cost, we're just gonna go with a small box of things, if all goes well, you will get the rest of my scrap and all of the escrap in the future. I have learned quite a bit on here, and had heard of escrap, but never knew what direction to go with it, this site showed me where and how to go about it, and I would like to use a buyer from this forum as a way to give back. I'm a loyal customer, and stick with what I like and know, as long as I feel I'm being "done right".
I am glad to have this forum to find out not just what to recycle but where to sell it.
Years ago I was commerical fishing. It was said you can catch all the fish in the ocean but if you don't have a market you can't make any money.
Our buyers are important to us and this forum as we are becoming to them. Mike.
looks like I'll be flat rate shipping this one, but I have to go run to the post office to get a large flat rate box. also, just curious, why are trimmed finger boards going for less a pound than whole finger boards? I would think you would get more gold out of a pound of trimmed than a pound of whole.
