How you upload photos off a smart phone ?
To post pictures from Facebook:
'right click' the picture on facebook you want to post, select 'view image' from this menu.
Then, get the URL from the address bar, and use this in the URL field when you click the 'image' button in your post editor.
it keeps saying that it's too large. what am I doing wrong? I used to be able to do this... lol

Yes, it pops up in a little box. It happened like 3 times the morning I posted my thread and I was already leaving later than i wanted to and I tried again just now and got the same error box. (Sorry about that by the way!) I was able to select the "image code" option at photobucket and paste it directly into here and it displayed the image. I was just worried that it was too big and i was going to get in trouble

It should be fine, test it out in this thread. You SHOULD be using the 'direct link' option from photobucket though, and pasting that into the box. But if image code works too, then that's fine.
It should also automatically be resized if it is in fact too big.

I am having trouble in posting a pic it was saying that I am logged in but I don't have permission to perform that action

I have never heard of down loading pics like this either. I just want to use pics from my picture or document folder on my computer. Is that not possible?

ok i made it work from facebook but is there a way not to have to load pic to facebook then copy to here?
Best bet is to use a site like Photobucket or another and use that to hold your photo's. Whole lot easier.

Take your pic and sign up for a Photobucket account or one of the others (Flickr, TinyPic, ImageShack) and upload your photo to there and then you copy and paste the address just like it describes in the original posting (video)Quote:

This works, however just as a reminder to everyone, everyone can use 'attachments' to include images in your posts as well. Only catch is attachments are displayed inline at the end of your post (full-size still), rather than within it.Quote:

I have droid I haven't figure out how to post pic yet.
Not sure how or if you can from the app.
I email myself the pic, then use a picture hosting site(photobucket, imageshack, imgr, etc)
You can also do it as an attachment if you don't want to use a host site. To do that scroll up a few an read the post from Admin, as he explains it rather nicely. Not sure if any of this works for Iphone users as I don't use one.

I still think it takes you having made a few posts before you can add photos. Go to the intro section and post a introduction of yourself. Include what you want but its nice to learn a little about you and what brought you here.Quote:
